Generally offices of this size have relatively small space and budget, so it is important to find the right solutions and not waste any money or valuable floor area.
Projector screens add a touch of quality to a presentation whether it is in the comforts of your own office or if you're on the road. Projector screens can be both fixed into position or you could go for a portable one which you can take to all your presentations. The portable freestanding products can be on a tripod base or spring loaded aluminium roller case. The screens are manufactured to protect themselves when they are collapsed, the screen rolls down into a case so when being carried this eliminates the potential problem of them being ripped or scratched and ruining the display. Wall mounted options also work on a spring loaded roller system, they are fixed by tension straight to the wall; this is common product for home cinema.
Open Offices are what they profess to be - open and transparent - where inconspicuous employers can keep an eye on errant employees and ensure that they are on the job for the time they actually bill. Information flows down better, communication is seemingly easier and there is an apparent improvement in productivity. Employers pat themselves on the back, while employees frown as they are frustrated at the 'lack of visual privacy' and the constant exposure to clatter and clamor that does very little to stimulate those gray cells.
If you work from home, you have the luxury of being able to decorate your work space with whatever inspires you, whether it is a colourful print, photographs, a pile of books or pictures stuck on a pin board above the desk, or plants & flowers. For a home office, striking the balance between homely and professional is often the key to staying organised and motivated. For those in corporate style offices, there is less opportunity to personalise the space, look for some funky desk accessories though that keep your workspace organised and inject some fun!
